Sunday Again

So today was pretty eventful. I took Dash to Lexidog for a little dog play group. I enjoyed it, Dash ran around freaked out as this is the first time since moving to Portland he's been away from the other dogs. Poor little guy had his little nub tail tucked as deep as he could get it. One thing I find interesting is that the dog parkish people in portland are not as nice as the dog park people in San Diego. Some people talked to me... and I talked to some people but all in all they were to cool for school... I think it was partly that at we were at Lexidog and those are the kind of people that go there... but when i took Monk to a park to play fetch a few months back the people were the same way. Next weekend I'm going to take Dash and Sharona and think he'll feel better about it with her there also.

I did run into Liz who is the girlfriend of a woman that I work with at TCS. Liz had Bell their dog with her and Bub did play with her a little... but he was really freaked. One thing the I found interesting about Bell is she weights less then bub.... and they had one of those metal prong collars on her to keep her from pulling... OKAY.. she's like 7 fucking pounds... come on.... her neck was all red... COME ON..... anyway..... i'll work on that one... I also heard someone say he wondered if dash was named after that republican Thomas Dashiell... I said FUCK NO he's named after the writer you dumb ass posser fuck.... he was not talking to me but i felt the need to correct him... like I like to do.

I also took monk on a walk when I got home, he liked that... it was nice.... but I have to say i'm pretty board.... so i've been reading and I'm almost done with my book.... and I'm been working on the TTouch that I learned on Saturday to help Sharona not bark so much so Crazy Eye Killer next door with pipe the fuck down.... TTouch is pretty cool, monk starts to drool when I do it on him.... and sharona tries to run away, which is not really the reaction that I'm looking for.. so i'll keep trying... At this point all the dogs are pretty much used to Holland now.. and Holland is slowing warming up to the idea of little dogs... And I think their barking has been pretty much in check but i know that Crazy Eye Killer will never be happy..

So i'm going to go back to reading..... all the dogs are sleeping, i think they are board too....

I can drive a FORKLIFT

So today, I learned how to drive a forklift.... this is something I've always wanted to know how to do and now I can do it and probably not kill anyone... I hope... Here is a link that a friend sent me on forklift safty, it's not for the weak hearted...

Chance

Pulled this guy from the shelter today. His name is chance. He's missing some fur but I'm sure it will grow back. He also needs to get some good food as he's under weight by about 3 pounds. I dropped him off at his foster family's house.. they fell in love with him. he's a good boy, he rode in the car really well, just looked out the window, ate some treats, and then slept because I got lost on my way from the shelter to his foster home. he was a little scared when i dropped him off but I know he'll warm up. He had been at the shelter for almost a month and was in an area where the public can not go as he was a bite risk.. which is true, but only because he was really scared due to all the dogs barking and 25 of them being pit bulls. I think his foster family might keep him.... which is kind of cool. I do volunteer work for a minpin rescue www.minpinrescue.org it's fun and I like knowing i'm helping out some little dogs...

Last friday I picked up a dog that was an owner give up from someone that had adopted this Pin as a puppy from minpin rescue. her name is molly and will end up on the web page. the sad thing is that Molly weighed in at 35 pounds... she should be like 12..... she was so fat she could not lift up her head and when she laid down her fat pooled around her.... she's on a diet now.... in about a year she should be her normal weight.. she looked more like a pug then a pin........ Matt and I drove her up to Washington state to go to her foster family.. Thanks for helping out the little dogs matt... he's a good guy to help me with all my crazy dog stuff....

Sunday Night

It's another sunday night and I'm 4 drinks to the wind... glad I have to be at work 4:45am tomorrow.... Matt is here.... but leaves tomorrow afternoon. We/I have a new roommate, Holland. he's moved up for San Diego. Ladies in there mid 20's he does not have a girlfriend so let me know if you would like to meet him. I'll post a pict at some point.

I'm going to start some TTouch classes with Sharona the BARKER... to make the neighbor happy... and see if I can help Sharona with her barking... did i mention that we had to have another meeting the other day with the neighbor.. she wants NO barking at all in the morning.. we have been doing really well I thought with 1-3 barks in the morning... but that is not good enough.. so We work on it more... whatever... they are dogs.. they bark sometimes.. one bark is probably going to happen in the morning they are dogs and don't know how to speak english.... they bark... did i mention they are dogs.. and we live in the city.. and dogs bark sometimes.... and it's not my fault if she is a drunk and sleeps in longer then I do.. I have to be at work at 4:45am on mondays and fridays.. I'm not as important as she is to the point I can be a drunk at night and sleep in every morning.. I have to be a drunk and wake up at the BUTT CRACK of DAWN...

anyway.. I need to sleep as i have to be at work way to FUCKING early in the morning tomorrow and I better not have to be in the truck. and I don't want to wake up princess next door...

Missing Pages

I'm missing about 32 pages from my new Harry Potter book. I was reading away last night and I got to page 500... and then it jumped back to page 468. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Now I need to decide if I keep the book and try to sell it on ebay.... or return it for a new one..... or just get someone I know to lend me a copy so I can read those pages... again... AHHHHHHHHHH

Sunday

Had the WHOLE day off... that was nice... didn't get much done around the house.... that was not so nice.. but at least my cloths are clean... and I'm almost ready to pay the bills.

The dogs were GREAT today. They had to be in their crates for like 11 hours yesterday. Kim stopped my and let them out and fead them.... but still it was a long day. they get the same thing tomorrow.. I have a 10 hour shift again... poor guys... it was opening weekend of TCS.. i was a cutter for 10 hours.. i guess it was cool...

going back to reading harry potter now....
