SNOW DAY!

it snowed yesterday in Portland. I was at work at Salty's at the time so getting home was no problem. It was the first time our SoCal dogs have ever been in snow... they loved it. I think Bonnie our foster has been in it before as she didn't really want to stay outside and play in it to much. but Dash and Monk ran around and had fun i think they thought it was sand like when we could go to the beach in San Diego... I also got a call last night at midnight telling me I didn't have to go to work.. SNOW DAY...... that was nice.... but I do have to go tomorrow and unload a truck.... I've have to get a bunch of stuff done today before everyone gets here for christmas.

Cookies

I can not make cookies... for the last two nights I've been trying to make cookies for a cookie exchange.. my kitchen is a floury mess and I have no edible cookies to show for it... It just comes down to the fact I can't bake....

the first night I even made "no bake" cookies and they SUCKED.. Thinking about them makes me want to puke... and I have no idea what the hell whet wrong with tonight's cookies... They just suck. However the frosting is good.. Maybe I'll just eat all that and make myself sick...
