SNOW DAY!
it snowed yesterday in Portland. I was at work at Salty's at the time so getting home was no problem. It was the first time our SoCal dogs have ever been in snow... they loved it. I think Bonnie our foster has been in it before as she didn't really want to stay outside and play in it to much. but Dash and Monk ran around and had fun i think they thought it was sand like when we could go to the beach in San Diego... I also got a call last night at midnight telling me I didn't have to go to work.. SNOW DAY...... that was nice.... but I do have to go tomorrow and unload a truck.... I've have to get a bunch of stuff done today before everyone gets here for christmas.

I had Monday off, too. I felt strangely guilty, though, because my 'hood (I guess we're from the same hood, eh?) was just cold and slushy. I worried at one point that they would actually make me go into work... Alas, they did not, and I spent most of the day in my pjs.

isn't it fun seeing dogs in snow. they just don't know what to do. i remember our Leo playing in the snow in eastern oregon and it was too deep for him, so he was leaping out of a hole and landing, creating another hole. so cute.
